Select the “Self Service Home” page under the “Employee Information” business component and “HCM IPad Interfaces” BPC.
The “Self Service Home” page appears.
This page consists of two tabs:
4 Me
4 My Approvals
Tab: My Approvals
Enter the name of the employee in the box provided and click “Get” button to retrieve the employee details in the header.
Click “Preference” hyperlink to set the preferences on which of the widgets have to be displayed in the Team View for the logged-in employee.
Click “Team Events Calendar” button to view a calendar which shows the events that have been planned for the reporting employees of the logged-in user.
Click “Team View” button to view the team member details view more of details of the employees reporting to the logged-in user under different sections like Experience & Qualification, Top Competency Gaps, Recent Appraisal Rating, etc.
Requests to be authorized
This tab consists of the following tiles:
4 Time Off/Leave
4 Time Sheet
4 Timesheet-Project
4 Expenses
4 Travel Request
Tile: Time-Off/Leave
The system displays the following if the status is in “Pending for Authorization-Create”, “Pending for Authorization-Cancel” and “Pending for Authorization-Alter”.
4 Count of pending authorization time off / leave requests which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
4 Count of pending authorization time off / leave requests that are exceptions which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
Click on the “Pending” Data Hyperlink to launch “ESS-Time-Off-My-Team” screen with all the pending requests displayed.
Click on Exceptions Data Hyperlink to launch “ESS-Time-Off-My-Team” screen with all exception pending requests highlighted.
Tile: Timesheet
The system displays the following.
4 Count of pending authorization time booking requests which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
4 Count of pending authorization time booking requests that have exceptions which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
Click on Pending Data Hyperlink to launch “Approve Timesheet” screen with all pending request.
Click on Exceptions Data Hyperlink to launch “Approve Timesheet” screen with all exception pending request.
Tile: Timesheet-Project
The system displays the following.
4 Count of pending authorization project time booking requests which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
4 Count of pending authorization project time booking requests that have exceptions which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
Click on Pending Data Hyperlink to launch “Approve Timesheet - Project” screen with all pending request.
Click on Exceptions Data Hyperlink to launch “Approve Timesheet - Project” screen with all exception pending request.
Tile: Expenses
The system displays the following if the status is in “Pending for Authorization-Create”, “Pending for Authorization-Cancel” and “Pending for Authorization-Alter”.
4 Count of pending for approval records raised by the employee which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
4 Count of pending expenses that have exceptions which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs. Click on Data Hyperlink to launch the approve expenses screen with all exception pending request.
Click on Pending Data Hyperlink to launch “Approve Expenses” screen with all pending request.
Click on Exceptions Data Hyperlink to launch “Approve Expenses” screen with all exception pending request.
Note: The following exceptions are raised within the expenses.
1. Expense amount exceeds the limit per request for the expense made.
2. Receipts are not attached to the requests where the bills / document attachments are mandatory
Tile: Travel
The system displays the following if the status is in “Pending for Authorization”.
4 Count of pending authorization travel requests which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
4 Count of pending authorization travel requests that have exceptions which are to be approved by the login user across all OUs.
Click on Pending Data Hyperlink to launch “Travel Management” screen with all pending request.
Click on Exceptions Data Hyperlink to launch “Travel Management” screen with all exception pending request.
